Sometimes I Feel Artsy
So in an attempt to get back on a normal sleeping pattern before I start back at school, I am staying in tonight. I couldn't think of anything to do so I watched the season premiere of project runway and made my own background and banner for my blog. Let me know your thoughts.

Texts from Last Night
My friend Austin had this as his facebook status. I laughed out loud so I thought I would share it here.
You are welcome.

Arcadian Broad

That face is the face of pure awesomeness.
I am not the kind of girl to watch stupid contest shows. I find them to be retarded and obnoxious. Even worse is the crap tons of commercials and cheesy lines from the host. Who the hell wants to watch 2 hours of television to get 30 minutes of entertainment?
However, I am currently spending a few weeks with my parents so, to make them happy, I watch television with them. My mother LOVES America's Got Talent. BARF! To make her happy, I have watch 3 (excruciating) hours of that show this week.
To make it completely worth it, Arcadian Broad (age 13) is currently competing for the one million dollar prize. I encourage EVERYONE to vote for this kid. He is the most talented dancer I have ever seen in my entire life.
You may not know this about me but I used to be a dancer. I went to several national dance competitions in high school and even those people (who were much older than Arcadian) cannot compare to his talent. I've never seen anyone pull off 7 pirouettes (turns) EVER. Not to mention his INCREDIBLE fouettes, turning jetes and jetes with a direction change mid-air. This stuff is VERY hard to accomplish. I am totally obsessed with this kid's dancing abilties.
He is only THIRTEEN!!! Imagine how much better he will be when he gains full adult control of his body. He is sooooooooooooooooooooooo talented. Yesterday was the results show and it was between some nasty sounding 14 year old singer girl (who my mother was going for) and Arcadian (who I obviously adore). Luckily Arcadian is continuing on. I will admit I felt very smug when he won. He is definitely the better talent.
Please vote for him. I want him to make it all the way.
XOXO
BTW, Mariah Carey is freaking NASTY!! What the hell was she wearing on A.G.T?!?! Someone needs to tell that bitch that she is almost 40 years old!! She is too old (and fat) to be dressing like a skank (in dark blue and black, GROSS!) and she is too old to be starting high school drama with Eminem. If you are going to impersonate him in your music video, have the guts to admit it. Don't act like its not about him. I have no respect for her. GROW THE HELL UP CRAZY LADY!!!
Great American Television
What is is about people and their love for watching people get hurt?
I was watching television with my mother and Wipeout came on. The exact episode in the preview above. Freaking HILARIOUS. Normally I would feel awful (and even slightly trashy) for laughing at other people's pain but I can't help but laugh during this show.
Watching some random idiot get knocked off a 10 foot pole by a rotating "arm" while wearing a sack over his/her legs is pretty funny. It gets even better when they happen to do a flip and smack into something on the way down.
To make it even better, these people are total freak shows. There was a guy doing awkward Yoda impressions, a guy wearing a costume who goes by "Super Stu" and a guy who felt the need to rip off his shirt before his less than stellar bull riding performance. My personal favorite is the never been kissed girl who screams "where's the pole?" in the preview above. (It is right in front of you idiot!!)
Best part of the preview? There is a guy who says "I love you, balls!" - I almost died I laughed so hard.
Why do I love this stuff? Because watching people make idiots of themselves on national television is freaking hilarious.
